TEESSIDE UNIVERSITY AT DARLINGTON - MY UNI

WORK is now finished on the new £13m Teesside University building in Darlington.
The University’s board of governors gave their approval for a new five-storey building in the town.

It was completed in June 2011, and is standing beside Darlington College’s buildings in Central Park.
It covers an estimated 4,000 square metres.

The university’s plans to extend into Darlington were first revealed in 2007.  A strong presence in the town will mean the university will be able to expand the range of higher education courses available in Darlington.

It provides undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and is a venue for business short courses and conferences.

The design of the building is environmentally-conscious and energy-efficient.
